Update on Fog City Wrestling Television

Due to bring the Bay Area the best quality content possible, our original broadcast debut has been pushed back to a latter unannounced date. Fog City Wrestling is focused on showcasing only the best Wrestling, news and entertainment. Keep logging on to www.fogcitywrestling.com for further details as they come in..

Fog City Wrestling recognized as “Best of the Bay 2008”

On Wednesday July 30th, 2008, The San Francisco Bay Guardian released its 34th annual Best of The Bay issue and honored Fog City Wrestling for Best Body Slam. Promoter Stevie Armani via phone interview gave this quote “This is another huge first for Fog City Wrestling. To think that in one unanimous voice, the Bay Area has recognized Fog City Wrestling as the Best of the Bay.” The former Commissioner of FCW continued “…we’ve made a lot of strides, hit a lot of walls and sacrificed everything for this Honor. But we didn’t do this alone; we owe our deepest gratitude to our Production Staff, our Office Staff and our Talent roster for bringing this award to Fog City Wrestling.” Commandant Caesar Black had this to say about this achievement: “That’s why we call them the Fog City Faithful. The Fans have spoken and we thank every one of them.”

As posted by the SF Bay Guardian:

BEST BODY SLAMS
The folks at Fog City Wrestling want you to watch a luchador slam a Tom Cruise impersonator into the floor. They want you to see a Samoan take-down team (combined weight: 1,100 pounds) take on the "Reno Punks" in a swirling, convoluted drama of independent pro-wrasslin'. Sweaty, in-your-face, "maybe knock you over if you're in the front row" wrestling has come back to San Francisco after what promoters Caesar Black and Steve Armani claim has been a 30-year absence. Fog City's shows are packed with so many acts, highlights, and subplots that things get raucously confusing. With a full-size ring and professional sound and lights, it brings a high level of showmanship with a big ol' plate of athleticism on the side. Wrestlers like Rikishi, the Mexican Werewolf, and Mister Primetime pull big-show moves — flying back flips, body slams, and pile drivers — just like them whut you see on the tee-vee.

FOG CITY WRESTLING CHANGES FACE

Caesar Black only trust a few people with the look and feel of the FCW And Dr Wagner 3 (the luchador mask wearing producer) one of the top men behind the Fog City feel has done it again. I asked him to push the envelope and he has delivered BIG TIME. From his survivalist shack in an undisclosed, closed circuit laboratory DW3 will bring our new Concept “Face the Music” to life. Face our host of all trades is going to provide the soundtrack to the City and her first spotlight will be ZionI and Grouch’s video “Hit Em’!” featuring Mistah Fab to our debut Television broadcast. Said segment host, “Face the Music” is going to open a lot of eyes to music good, diverse music. The same way Fog City is opening eyes to Bay Area wrestling it’s all just showing why we love the Bay and the Bay loves us. OM records (www.om-records.com) is awesome EVERBODY knows about them, for them to extend they’re hand to us is unbelievable. It’s a wonderful opportunity, I’m just learning wrestling but I love music when they ask me to do I said !CENSORED! YEAH!”

“I loved doing the podcast with the weird masked guy. I loved hanging with my homegirl in the ring at the live show. But this is me and I think I’ve found my spot in the City.”

Sightings during a CITY WIDE location shoot July 5th

Sightings during a CITY WIDE location shoot July 5th, including sightings of a “jester” crossing Haight St. lead to a counterfeit “rough draft” of the FCW television roster showing up on the Internet. After the office phone lines were flooded with calls, Commandant Black issued this statement; “Did you read it at fogcitywrestling.com? Was it at Properly Promoted? Did you see it at Nor Cal Wrestling? Those are official sources, which are real news. If you didn’t read it at one of those places it’s fake. I mean seriously, some guy from his “command center” sends out something on the wire and it’s news? Let’s talk about what is important, I can tell you that I have just left the FCW labs and amid the sparks, smoke and hammering Fog City Wrestling Television is under construction. The blueprint was laid out. The materials have been flown in. And a crack team is working tirelessly to make FCW TV an event unlike any seen in the wrestling world EVER!! Incorporating different aspects of art, culture and music we are going to change the way you watch your pro wrestling. I also have it on good authority that FCW is being considered for a couple unique opportunities in the world of animation and music. So when there is official news it will be made available here the OFFICIAL HOME OF ALL THINGS FOG CITY fogcitywrestling.com our extended family over at properlypromoted.com and myspace.com/norcalwrestling.”

Fog City Wrestling wants KIDS TO READ!!

In an effort to show our commitment to the Fog City Faithful and for FCW to truly be Family & Children Welcome, we are beginning our campaign to get the children of Fog City into WORDS!! In regards to recent actions by the Reno Scum, this reporter caught up with Chicano Flame at the Alice Cinco De Mayhem party. Here is what he had to say.

When I ask him about his personal problems with Vennis DeMarco and his match July 5th he didn’t have much to say, “DeMarco is a bad dude, maybe the worst. But I didn’t come to Fog City to loose, so DeMarco be ready.”

Tony vs Modest

Roarshaq Durden reporting,

I think I said it best when I said Caesar Black holds grudges. Right now I’m watching Caesar stare, and I’m afraid to break the silence.

“You know why you’re here? History, so please push record.”

“Already on.”

“Tony Jones was here yesterday for a prime rib diner. He and Slymm love the prime rib; anyway Mike Modest came up in conversation and I lost my appetite. A long time ago Caesar made Mike Modest acquaintance and lets just say I was not impressed. Granted I was a scrub when this meeting happened but its like Grandma Black told me, treat people how you want to be treated because you never know when you will see them again. Now I’m the Boss, and the worm has turned. 10 years ago a movie came out that affected Northern California pro wrestling and all of the impressionable youth that saw it, me included. So when Tony told me that world famous globe trotting Mike Modest had reared his head I thought, history. And, an opportunity to rectify a wrong. 10 years ago Modest beat Jones, in a dark match in front of the scouts of the WWE. I believe that win is the reason why Modest is considered the best wrestler in Northern California. Now everybody knows Tony Jones is the best technical wrestler, his suplex are the most severe so he is truly the best wrestler in Northern California. 2 months ago we brought Tony Jones home to Fog City and he instantly asserted himself back into the Bay Area spotlight. Now we are going to fix history, starting with Mike Modest. After July 5th 2008 when the Internet nerds are doing whatever it is they do on the boards everyone, everyone will be talking about Jones vs. Modest 10 year rematch 10 years from now. Tony Jones solidified his name, as the best wrestler in the Bay Area I guarantee it.

Then Caesar just stared away like there was more to say, but he didn’t. I wrapped it up and got ready to leave.

“One more thing.”

“Sh…” I thought.

“Modest you’ll forgive me if I don’t quiver with school boy hero worship. You’ll understand that by coming here you’ve put yourself directly in the line of fire. Our history is written in iron Michael. Not Japan, not some garage, Fog City, my city. Welcome to Fog City Michael Modest, I hope you survive the Xperience.

Fog City Puroresu

Talks are underway between the Management of Fog City Wrestling to bring the amazing performers of the Zero1 Max promotion from Japan to Fog City Wreslting. Ever a company that respects the cultural aspects of pro wrestling. We are excited about the prospect of bringing this hard-hitting action to San Francisco for the first time ever.

Arik Cannon ANARCHY RULEZZZ?

We’re not sure what Caesar B. Black is thinking. A man that needs absolute control has signed “your favorite anarchist” Arik Cannon, to replace the traveling Brandon Bonham on July 5th Brave New World card July 5th. Speculation is that Arik reached out to B. Black to take care of old grudges. Other theories are that he is trying to broaden his California horizons. Caesar doesn’t care, “hey an athlete of his caliber calls me, I take the call. If, he has beef with someone on this roster great. What could be better, if you’ve seen him in the ring then you know what we’re getting. I hope he’s got a huge chip when he gets here.”

But how do you control the personification of anarchy? By definition he follows no rules, and with B. Black being so secretive about whom he’s facing this is shaping up to be explosive.

“Look it’s a different time, things are different in Fog City. Look around; does this look like a traditional wrestling company? Have you seen some of the freaks in this place? Yes it true I do like to hold all the cards, all the time. But sometimes you’ve got to take chances Arik Cannon is that chance. It’s not random chance, hey I’m Caesar B. Black I always know what’s going on.”

Stevie Armani; Friends in High Places?

In the wake of his very public firing, photos of Stevie Armani surface with local celebrity d.j. No Name of Alice 97.3.

“We have mutual interest, entertaining the masses of San Francisco being one of them.” Armani states over a voice message left at the office. “I know Black is untrusting but paparazzi? Come on.”

“I’m as shocked by these photos as anyone. I didn’t know Armani had any friends.” Caesar denies any knowledge of the photos origins, “hey the guy has a face for radio. I wish him luck.”

Speculation over the last minute signings by Armani have been all over the boards, most assumed hired muscle to get his position back. Aaron Aguileras name has come up, but as of press time he was out of the country not due back anytime soon. What does it all mean? Well this staff is dying to know we suggest you stay tuned to fogcitywrestling.com better yet get your ticket it’s going to be a wild one!
